The El Centro Elementary School District (ECESD) is soliciting bids for (8) modular classroom buildings located at various sites in the City of El Centro, located in Imperial County, California. All buildings will be similar with two being mirror imaged. See attached drawing. The project scope of work includes: 1. The Manufacturer is to provide complete DSA approved PC drawings, (24" x 36", in .pdf format) with intended use to be included in the ECESD's submittal package to DSA with their site-specific review packages. (Buildings to be similar to those in stockpile for school use with current PC approvals). 2. The Manufacturer will provide installation services at the ECESD's (8) sites, in the City of El Centro, CA; the District will have the sites "installation ready" with properly graded and compacted pads. 3. The Manufacturer will provide a specification sheet of the items included in the proposed building. Building Description 1. Foundation: Typical built-up wood foundation. 2. Roof: EPDM with underlay material over plywood Class 'A' roofing system. 3. (2) ramps. 4. Exterior Finish: Siding over wood studs with building wrap. 5. Insulation: All required insulation (walls & roof) per current code. 6. Windows (exterior): Dual pane with clear glass. 7. Windows (interior): Single pane with clear glass. 8. Exterior Doors: Hollow metal complete with hardware. 9. Interior Doors: Solid core wood complete with hardware. 10. Flooring: Classroom, Offices Reception & Lounge shall be carpet with 4" high rubber base. All other rooms are to be sheet vinyl with integral 6" high coved base. 11. Ceiling: Typical suspended T-bar ceiling (8'-1" ceiling height) 12. (1) fully accessible restroom with typical bathroom accessories including grab bars, mirror, and TP dispenser. 13. HVAC: Exterior wall mounted. 14. Electrical and Lighting: Typical systems as required by current code. 15. Fire Alarm: Typical locations as required by the DSA approval process and current code.
