Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Watertown, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The work for which proposals are asked includes the following: Excavation Common, Base Aggregate Dense, Breaker run, Concrete and Asphalt Driveways, HMA Pavement, Concrete Curb & Gutter, Concrete Sidewalk, Concrete Steps, HDPE Storm Sewer, PVC Sump Drain Line, Catch Basins, Manholes, Watermain, Hydrants, Valves, Copper Water Services, PVC Sanitary Sewer Laterals, Mobilization, Restoration, Erosion Control, and Traffic Control. S. Washington St., Emmet St., W. Madison St., and W. Milwaukee St. All planholders will receive information via Quest on how to join the virtual meeting prior to the bid opening. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project. Bidding documents may be examined, by appointment only, at the Engineering Department from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the time set for opening Bids. Bidders shall prequalify with the City on forms in the bidding documents or on forms supplied by the Contractor not less than five (5) days before the opening of Bids.
