Site work for a civil project in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of May 24, 2023, this project has been awarded and notice to proceed has been issued, however, the current status of and an exact timeline for construction have not been confirmed. In general the work consists of replacement and construction of steam utilities at the intersection of Park Street and Dayton Street. Existing steam pits 3-13 and 4-13 will be modified / increased in size to accommodate a new steam tunnel below Park Street. New steam and condensate piping will be installed through the new steam tunnel in parallel with existing steam and condensate lines. Once the new piping is installed and energized the existing piping will be disconnected / isolated and direct buried sections will be abandoned Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted **GPC BIDDERS: 1:00 P.M., Thursday, 13 March 9, 2023
