Renovation of an educational facility in Morrisonville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,300-square-foot educational facility.

BASE BID: Project consists of the removal of approximately 8,300 square feet of ACBM 9x9 floor tile and mastic by heat method and the installation of replacement vinyl composition floor tile. ALTERNATIVE BID #1: Consists of the provision and installation of 4" rubber base base as indicated on Drawings. ALTERNATIVE BID #2: Consists of the installation of music room graphics in floor tile as indicated on Drawings. Contractor will be responsible for ordering equipment and all materials immediately after contract execution and shop drawing approvals, regardless of the first day available for construction. Contractor will be responsible for storing and insuring equipment and materials until the first day available for construction (approximately June 5, 2023). See Section 01 20 00 for additional information. The Owner requires that construction cannot start until approximately June 5, 2023, and the project is to be substantially complete by August 4, 2023. Should the Contractor fail to complete the Work within such time, contractor agrees to compensate and will apply to the Owner for each and every day of such delay in completion of the Work beyond the Contract Time the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) per day for Work not completed by the substantial completion date as liquidated damages. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 10 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be either certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Submit two copies of your Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.
