The District of Columbia ("District") Department of General Services (the "Department" or "DGS") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit design-build proposals ("Proposal(s)") from offerors ("Offeror(s)") interested in serving as the design-builder (the "Design-Builder" or the "Contractor") for the modernization of Thomas Elementary School ("Thomas ES"), located at 650 Anacostia Avenue NE, Washington DC 20019. Due Date for Questions: February 14, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. Notice of intent to award (anticipated): April 15, 2023 Offerors are required to submit with their Proposals a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total price proposal However, in the event an Offeror who is awarded the Agreement fails to post a payment and performance bond for the full value of the Agreement The Department reserves the right, in its sole discretion: To cancel this RFP, in whole or in part, at any time before the opening of Proposals and/or reject all Proposals. Interested vendors must notify the POC indicated within Section 1.7. The due date to submit the names of participants for the site visit is January 26, 2023, at 5:00 PM
