CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/16/2023 5:00 PM Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves the removal and replacement of the double suction centrifugal pumps at a water booster station, and associated demolition, and mechanical construction. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Engineers cost estimate for the project $225,000-$275,000 The work performed under this item includes, but is not limited to: mobilization, staging, temporary signs, temporary pathways, temporary fence with gate (on site, and if Contractor selects to coordinate an off-site staging area), all appurtenant labor, work, supervision, tools, equipment, materials; pre-construction video and photographs; construction layout; toilet facilities; temporary utilities; insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, coordination, supervision, miscellaneous work and labor, de-mobilization, clean-up, CAD copy drawings with all the "As Built" dimensions; and all other items necessary to complete the work. The work shall be in accordance with the contract documents. Payment for Mobilization and General Construction as shown on the contract drawings will be included in the Total Lump Sum Price Bid for the base contract.
