SYNOPSIS / PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region (Region 5), intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price contract, to Basement Storm & Sanitary Piping Upgrade project, located at the Peoria Federal Building & U. Solicitation with the specifications and drawings will be posted around the week of March 10, 2023 and will remain posted for a period of 30 days as per FAR 5.203(c). Courthouse 100 Monroe Street, Peoria, Illinois 61602 TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract will be awarded requiring submission of a technical proposal, price proposal, as well as past performance or similar job history documentation. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous and provide the best value to the Government in regards price and other factors considered. Payment Bonds or other Alternative Payment Protections for construction contracts will be required. Contract is expected to be awarded by April 2023. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Peoria, IL (Peoria County), will apply.
