The New Hanover County Engineering Department invites interested engineering firms or teams with proven experience evaluating, designing, and permitting stream re-alignment/repair, restoration, and bank stabilization work for approximately 850 linear feet along an unnamed tributary to Smith Creek of which is experiencing slope stability issues and erosion and concerns with an adjacent sewer line. This request for qualifications seeks a professional engineering firm or team of consultants interested in assisting New Hanover County in developing a solution, preparing construction plans, and obtaining any necessary permitting to repair the channel and aid in protecting it from further deterioration in future storm events Questions are to be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, to Lena Butler, LBUTLER@NHCGOV.COM. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
