title: run new duct bank location of the work: building 404, nas oceana, virginia beach, va description of the work: approximately 1,000 lf of new duct bank shall be directional bored and conductors installed adjacent to the existing duct bank, (see photos in section 8). all duct bank work shall adhere to the specifications outlined in ufc 3-550-01 exterior electrical power distribution. verify and mark all underground utilities. provide and place warning signs and barricades for proper traffic control in accordance with the manual on uniform traffic control devices (mutcd). follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; while also adhering to astm international guidelines while performing work outlined in this sow. utilize osha approved lock out/tag out procedures prior to performing electrical work. directional bore (qty 4) new pathways for new 5 conduit. provide and install (qty 4) new runs of 5 conduit, including all mounts, couplings, and connectors. new conduit shall be ran into existing manholes. provide and install pull lines in the (qty 3) vacant conduit runs. provide and install new cable within conduit; along with all connectors, wall mounts, and wall mount arms. new cables shall be spliced into the existing conductors. cable shall meet the following specifications and quantities: 500mcm, 5kv, epr cable (3 runs of approximately 1,000 lf), 1/0, 600v, thhn cable (1 run of approximately 1,000 lf). energize new circuit and test for proper operation. all information here-in is for reference only. the contractor must field verify all existing conditions, prior to fabrication and placing orders for any new items/equipment within this sow. the contractor must dispose of all existing demolished/removed materials off base and will completely clean up job site after work is performed. maintain daily site clean-up at the end of every workday during the entirety of the construction period, to prevent any hazard potential. disposal must be in accordance with all existing local, state, federal and navfac midlant ev rules and regulations. run new duct bank, bldg 404 nas oceana, virginia beach, va solicitation no.: n4008523r2614 work order no.: 1753999 estimated budget amount or price range: in accordance with far 36.204 disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. naics code: 236220 - commercial and institutional building construction time for completion: contract completion date is 90 calendar days. the days are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, bonding and other requirements set forth in the task order/macc. task order award is considered notice to proceed. wage rate requirements: department of labor (dol) general decision number: va20230167 (attachment b) applies to this work. should this wage determination be modified by dol prior to award, the most current wage determination may be issued via amendment. liquidated damages: in accordance with far 52.211-12 liquidated damages, if the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the government in the amount of $318.40 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. utilities: in accordance with far 52.236-14 availability and use of utility services -
