Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Port Clinton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Engineer's Estimated Cost: $237,739,10 Bids must be sealed and endorsed on the outside of the envelope with the name of the bidder and the project bid upon. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time will neither be read nor considered. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. No proposal will be considered unless it is made on the blanks furnished by the County. No bidder shall take any exception to any requirement of the specifications. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than August 11, 2023. See additional date restrictions outlined in the plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty and must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Instructions to Bidders. All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that apply to the work. Any project specification item in conflict with a federal, state, or local law, rule or regulation, shall be void. This project falls under the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage requirements. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept that bid which in the judgment of proper officials is to the best interest of the County. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
