Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Elmvale, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 76,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 128-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.
New long term care home to be constructed on the site adjacent to the existing Sara Vista Long-Term Care in 2 phases. Two-storey, combustible construction with partial basement totaling 7,037m2 accommodating 128 beds in 4 Resident Home Areas. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com It is estimated that the project will commence construction on August 21, 2023. Approval to proceed into construction is contingent on approval by the Ministry of Long-Term Care. It is anticipated that construction will occur in one phase. EBC's construction schedule for the Sara Vista Long Term Care Home is 21 months.
