For Concrete Street Improvements FY 2023 The Project consists of: Demolition of existing deteriorated PC concrete street pavements and replacement with new 8" thick (reinforced) PC Concrete pavement (about 3,050 SY); installation of about 1,362 TN of limestone; installation of about 1,822 LF of mountable curb ("tack-on" type); maintenance of traffic/traffic control; and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Contract Term: 120 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (MondayThursday), and 8:00 am - 12 noon (Friday), and shall obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described herein. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the Mayor, City of Hammond; 310 East Charles Street; Hammond, LA 70401. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund of $20.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Spangler Engineering, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
