Bids, along with bid secu-rities, must be enclosed in a properly SEALED envelope bearing on the out-side the name of the bidder and the NATURE OF THE BID CONTAINED THEREIN. A Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, made payable to the City of Summit. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of any and all appli-cable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and requirements, including but not limited to: N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. (Prevailing Wage Act); N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Statement of Ownership Disclosure); N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Affirmative Action); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Busi-ness Registration), and the City's adopted minimum standard insurance requirements. The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals, waive any minor defects, and consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt pur-suant to the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.
