Lewisville ISD is requesting competitive sealed proposals for door access control, security, and related products and services utilizing Job Order Contract (JOC). The first Job Order request post award is expected to be for approximately 170 keyless door entry systems. 118 keyless door entry systems are being issued from Facility Services and 52 keyless door entry systems are being issued for Child Nutrition totaling the 170.Other requests may follow. LISD currently has approximately 967 sub-controllers throughout the District with approximately 639 monitored doors that would require a door controller if converted to keyless entry and approximately 941 keyless access doors for a total 1,580 doors. The District may utilize this Job Order Contract (JOC) for access control, security, and related products and services as-needed throughout the District over the term of this contract. This proposal may be awarded to one or multiple vendors by line item, section or package as determined to be the best value to the District. All new equipment are turn-key purchases and includes all needed installations, equipment and related costs. All responses to this proposal shall be for a two year agreement between the District and the provider(s) with three successive one year extensions, based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of all parties not to exceed five years total. This proposal is being issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) to procure vendors who provide goods and/or services purchased by LISD using federal funds.
