Site work for a civil project in Tecumseh, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
1. Culvert #42 - Crossing the South Talbot Drain 2. Culvert #53 - Crossing the 9th Line Drain 3. Culvert #54 - Crossing the Webster Drain a) Implement traffic staging and establish detour route. b) Implement environmental protection, temporary flow by-pass and dewatering measures. c) Clearing and grubbing of the ditch within the work zone. d) Excavation and removal of the existing roadway, structure, and retaining walls. e) Construction of new precast box culverts with precast cut-off walls, precast headwalls, appurtenances, and cast-in-place concrete distribution slabs. f) Construction of new precast block retaining walls with precast block headwalls. g) Relocation of watermains beneath new culverts. h) Removal, replacement and realignment of buried drains. i) Backfill structure and repave roadway within the limits of construction. j) Regrade streambed and embankments and place rip rap. k) Site restoration.
