Renovation of a detention facility in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
For Chippewa Correctional Facility - Egress Ramps and Related Infrastructure This project includes work at three (3) buildings within the Facility. All locations include construction of a new exterior concrete ramps with retaining walls, sidewalks, new catch basins and structures, storm pipe, foundation drains, steel railings, cutting of existing masonry for new hollow metal doors and frames, hardware, new exterior lights and interior exit signs. One location involves erection of a temporary control fence, removal of an existing control fence, and installation of a new permanent control fence. LEIN CHECK (Dept. of Corrections ONLY) All contractor/vendor representatives attending a Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request five business days prior to the meeting date, (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request form). Send the LEIN Request form, filled out and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith at email address: SmithD76@michigan.gov. The email "Subject" must include (Facility Name, Project Name, Date & Time of Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting). 5% Bid Security ACCEPTING QUESTIONS UNTIL: March 1, 2023 at 5:00 pm local time Location 4269 W.
