Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Hiawatha, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: A. Base Bid: North Lift Station Improvements. a. Improvements to the North Lift Station site including demolition of existing structures, construction of a new equalization basin with compacted clay liner, modifications to existing wet weather lift station, new wet weather force main, and associated piping, structures, electrical, and field devices B. Alternate No. 1: Grit System Replacement: a. Replacement of North Lift Station grit system including vortex grit removal system, grit pump, degritter, dewatering screw, electrical, and control equipment C. Alternate No. 2: High Priority Public Inflow and Infiltration Reduction: a. Repairs within the Hiawatha collection system to address inflow, infiltration, and structural concerns including Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining, open cut repairs, manhole rehabilitation, and manhole replacement as indicated on Drawings.
