Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Desoto, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; 15,000-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of DeSoto (City) is seeking Statements of Qualifications to select qualified Architectural Firms to meet the City's need in planning, designing, and construction of the Public Utilities building that will include office space for Public Utilities Department personnel, meeting rooms, and equipment storage facilities. The facility will be located adjacent to the City's Westmoreland Pump Station located at 620 North Westmoreland Road. It is anticipated that the new facility will be approximately 15,000 square feet. This RFQ may also be utilized to select qualifying firms for future unidentified City projects, requiring architectural and design services. As of October 7, 2025, the short-listed firms have not been released. A timeline to select a design firm has not been disclosed.
