Natural Gas Welding Services Annual Contract. Scope of work includes materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the welding of gas mains, gas services, and gas meter piping in the City of Holyoke and Town of Southampton, MA. The majority of work to be performed will be installation of steel service tees and line stopping fittings on natural gas mains, as well as prefabricated meter set and spool piece assemblies. The Invitation for Bid and Contract documents are subject to MGL c.30 s.39M. A bid deposit in the amount of $4,500 must accompany all bids. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Payment and Performance Bonds each in the amount of $45,000.
