Award amount is $577,613.13** Improvements to Laurelhurst - Phase III WORK DESCRIPTION: The project generally consists of general pavement and drainage improvements, as well as curb ramp upgrades and other associated work on various roads throughout the Township. Approximate construction quantities in this project include 17,500 SY of HMA Milling, 3,850 TN of HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course, and other associated work. WORK SITES: Harmony Lane, Bonnie Lane, Bonnie Court, Ellen Drive, Cottage Place, Walden Road, Tanglewood Road, Fieldcrest Lane, Glen Ridge Court, Orchard Court, Wayside Drive,Greenhill Drive. PRE-BID MEETING: None BID GUARANTEE: Bid Guarantee is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount indicated in the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). CONSENT OF SURETY: A certificate is required from a surety company stating that it will provide bonds in the form and amounts as stated in the Contract Documents. STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including the N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration), P.L. 1963, C.150 (Prevailing Wages), and P.L. 2004, C.57, P.L. 2009, C.315 (New Jersey Business Registration Requirements). ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: During the performance of this contract the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), all requirements of the State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act (N.J.A.C. 12:110 et seq.) as amended and the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) (29 CFR 1910), as amended with regard to worker and jobsite safety. OWNER'S RIGHTS: The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications.
