Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; library; swimming pool; and clubhouse / community center.
Construction of a multi-use service centre for the greater Forest Lawn Area. The site is located between 14 Ave SE & 8 Ave SE, and between 47 Street SE and 52 Street SE. Phase 1 to include a new 5-bay fire station (replacement for Fire Station 12), parking, skate park, and multi-service recreation fields; Phase 2 to include a recreation centre with aquatics & fitness centre, multi-purpose rooms, gymnasium and community spaces, field house, washrooms, soccer field and park/green spaces; and Phase 3 to include a library, arts & culture hub, and open space amenities for gathering and cultural activities. TIMELINE: Project is master planning stage. Construction of the fire station may commence first (estimated cost $25M). Timelines for detailed design, tender, and construction may be confirmed in 2026. Total estimated cost is $243M.
