Site work and renovation of a civil project in Fort Benning, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the following major elements: The construction of 1,900 linear feet of 8-inch and 60 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron water transmission main located on Fort Benning, GA. Columbus Water Works will provide all the Ductile Iron Pipe for the project. Modifications to two existing pressure reducing valves, installation of a new in-line check valve and vault, new treatment equipment at the existing Uchee Creek Water Storage Tank consisting of a blower, surface aerator, and submersible mixer, booster pumping station, chemical storage and feed equipment, miscellaneous building improvements, SCADA, and all associated electrical work. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.
