General Construction Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's or trust company treasurer's check, or approved Surety Company s bid bond, made payable to the County of Erie in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the base bid as a security. Questions during the bid period shall be directed to the office of the architect. All contracts exceeding $10,000 shall contain a provision requiring compliance with Executive order 11246, entitled, Equal Employment Opportunity, as amended by Executive order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60).
