**As of February 23, 2023, the bid was awarded to Kropf Industrial Inc. in the amount of $231,250.00. Anticipated start date has not yet been determined. For the replacement of twelve docks within the Alpena Marina. Project location/delivery site is the Alpena Marina, 400 E Chisholm Street, Alpena, Michigan 49707. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals and to waive irregularities in proposals, which may be in the best interest of the City. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The proposal project is for the supply, delivery and final installation of twelve 60-foot floating docks. These new docks will be replacing nine existing fixed docks and one floating "u-dock" in accordance with the provided sketch. It is the intent to utilize the same style of dock previously installed within the marina. However, alternative systems will be considered based upon their merit and potential improvements. The existing dock system will be removed by others prior to delivery. The existing foam floatation system has been an issue in the past and is no longer desirable for the new docks. The existing dock connection is shown in the photos below. If this pinning system is not compatible, please provide required changes as part of the proposal.
