Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Alert Bay, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Village of Alert Bay is requesting quotations for the roof replacement at the Alert Bay Community Hall located at 185 Cedar Street. Alert Bay is located on Cormorant Island just off the east coast of Vancouver Island near the town of Port McNeil. BC Ferries provides access to the island. The existing asphalt shingle roof on the Community Hall is no longer performing adequately and must be replaced. The roof is 37.5 m by 16.6 m and has approximately a 5.5/12 pitch. The desired replacement roofing is a high quality asphalt shingle with at least a 30-year lifespan.
