The proposed scope of work includes the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers on and within several streets in the City of Mill Valley. As outlined in the schedule of bid items, this work includes, but is not limited to, implementation of water pollution control plan; traffic control; locate utilities; asphalt removal and replacement; removal and replacement of concrete curbs and gutters, sidewalks, and driveways; clearing and grubbing, excavation, subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of backfill and aggregate base; installation and replacement of sanitary sewer pipelines by open trenching, pipe bursting, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation; reconnection of sewer laterals; modification and rehabilitation of manholes; construction of new manholes; abandonment of sewer force main; installation of new sanitary sewer force main and valves; restore damaged striping and markers; and all other work as shown on the Plans, as called for in the Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer. The Engineers Estimate for the project is $1,200,000. Installation and replacement of sanitary sewer pipelines by open trenching, pipe bursting, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation; reconnection of sewer laterals; modification and rehabilitation of manholes; construction of new manholes; abandonment of sewer force main; installation of new sanitary sewer force main and valves; and other items as identified in the contract documents.
