Site work and paving for a road / highway in Immokalee, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of widening an approximately 3-mile-long segment of SR 29. The final roadway will consist of two 12-foot travel lanes in each direction with 4-foot paved inside shoulders, 10-foot (5-foot paved) outside shoulders, and a 30-foot grass median. Intersection improvements are proposed for the intersection of SR 29 at New Market Road/Westclox Road. Roadside ditches will be used to collect and convey runoff for treatment and attenuation. As of September 26, 2023, this project is in the early conceptual phase. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
