SD DOT Spec Book Class D Type Hot Mix b. Price to be quoted F.O.B. plant site within 65 mile radius of Huron SD Rental or Lease of miscellaneous equipment for road construction & maintenance a. Bids must be submitted on an hourly basis for use of equipment Aggregate for Asphalt Servicing a. All material bid shall meet specifications as set forth in the South Dakota Standard Specifications for Road and Bridges 2015 Edition Section 881.2 (Type 1B). All material shall be crushed quartzite. b. Site locations c. Site # 1 1,700 ton 0.5 miles east of Hwy 281 on 205th St d. Site # 2 3,400 ton 12.0 miles North of Hwy 14 on 411th Ave and 4.0 miles east on 196th St e. Delivery of the chips will be coordinated with the Beadle County Highway Superintendent and completed by June 15, 2023. Or until road conditions allow. All bids will be good for the year 2022 unless stated otherwise. Where applicable, all materials and supplies shall meet specifications set forth in the Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges established by the SD Department of Transportation. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, and consider prior history of service or products when awarding bids.
