The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.” 111The District is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR") services for improvements for construction of channel improvements, alluvial fan restoration, low-water road crossings and utility protection practices on federal lands in the Pipeline Fire burn and flood areas. The goal of the work is to reduce sediment sourcing and transport from destabilized channels and alluvial fan areas while restoring watershed hydraulic processes. It is expected that construction will begin in April of 2023 and be substantially completed by Fall of 2024. Some activities may extend into 2025 if required. Schultz/Pipeline Flood Mitigation Project - On-Forest Watershed Restoration Construction includes channel and alluvial fan restoration, construction of armored low-water crossings on forest service low maintenance roads, clearing and disposal of both live standing and dead trees, revegetation with native grasses, placement of erosion control products and limited placement of concrete to protect utilities. Harvesting and use of native materials, boulders, soil, trees will be required to achieve project goals and budget limitations. Close cooperation with the design engineer to manage the project with respect to availability and quality of these materials is required.
