As of June 20, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Site Directions: The project site is located in STR 10-18-14 at 1700 West Detroit Street. The project will cover the full Broken Arrow maintenance lot that abuts the train tracks and has an entrance off of West Detroit Street. The project consists of 11,600 SY full depth asphalt pavement replacement, sidewalk and ADA improvements, site grading, miscellaneous appurtenances as well as permanent and temporary stormwater treatment improvements. For this Phase 1 project the existing operations shall remain open and accessible throughout construction activities. The total contract time for the project shall be seventy-five (75) calendar days. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured financial institution as required by law must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to the City of Broken Arrow. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by City of Broken Arrow in the amounts equal to the Contract price. The acceptance and award of this Bid will be considered by the Broken Arrow City Council. The City of Broken Arrow reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest base bid or lowest combined base and additive alternate bids, if any, which is most advantageous to City of Broken Arrow. Applicable additive alternates, if any, will be determined at the City of Broken Arrow's discretion.
