The City of Moncton is seeking to retain the services of an experienced Consultant to assist with the development of the Vision Lands West Master Plan, the review and update to the Vision Lands Secondary Municipal Plan, and the creation of a new Regional Park. The principal purpose of the project is to prepare a Master Plan for Vision Lands West, to update the Secondary Municipal Plan to be harmonious with the Master Plan, and to explore the creation of a new Regional Park in the project area. It is expected that the overarching principles of the Master Plan and Secondary Municipal Plan will be based on sustainable development practices, as further described in 'Appendix A: Vision Lands Project Framework'. This work will be informed by wetland delineation, wetland assessment, and habitat description of flora and fauna for several properties located in the Vision Lands that is undertaken by the project consultant. Proponents shall be individuals / firms who have been in the business of providing professional consultative and advisory services pertaining to community and environmental planning, wetland delineation, transportation engineering, and drainage, wastewater, and water servicing engineering. Proponents must also be able to provide a minimum of three (3) clients for whom they have provided similar services to that specified in the RFP within the last five (5) years and have sufficient resources available to carry out the assignment in the manner and capacity required. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
