The City of Hampton is seeking bids from qualified bidders to provide routine and emergency on-call pressure washing and cleaning services for various locations within the City of Hampton to include but not limited to all brick, block masonry, metal, vinyl, stucco, wood , pavers and concrete surfaces on an as needed basis. The City reserves the right to request proof of the expense before payment and reserves the right to refuse to pay any expense that was not previously approved by the City. Contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations now in effect or hereafter adopted, in the performance of the scope work set forth herein. Contractor represents that it possesses all necessary licenses and permits required to conduct its business and will acquire any additional licenses and permits necessary for performance of the Contract prior to the initiation of work. Contractor shall maintain all such licenses and permits throughout the term of this Contract. Failure to maintain such licenses and permits and to provide copies to the City shall constitute a material breach of this Contract. Contractors are required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor.
