The City of Hampton is seeking proposals from qualified offerors to provide consulting services for the 2040 Hampton Community Plan. Work Location: Various Locations within the City of Hampton. The City of Hampton, Virginia is seeking qualified professional services to support and assist the City of Hampton in the preparation of an update to the City's community plan. Hampton's Community Plan consists of two components: a strategic plan and a comprehensive plan. Together these two components form the 2040 Hampton Community Plan. The last Hampton Community Plan was completely updated in 2006 and the Strategic Plan component was last updated in 2011. Since those adoption dates, there have been several amendments to the originally adopted documents. Professional services are being sought to augment and support the work of the City staff team in this effort. While the City staff team will remain the primary authors of the document, the City is seeking support services to augment the capability of the City team over the course of the project. This process includes a robust community engagement process, collecting and analyzing data, formulating recommendations as well as designing and producing various drafts, summaries and final documents. This process began in June 2022 and will be conducted in two phases: Phase I: Development of the strategic plan component - June 2022 - November 2023 Phase II: Development of the comprehensive plan component - September 2023 - March 2025 Project has been cancelled.
