Renovation of a detention facility in Carson City, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Base Bid Description: Replace air handling units, ductwork, condensing units, piping, and controls per plans and specifications. Contract Time: 88 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $1,215.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Every person planning to attend the pre-bid meeting must obtain a security clearance in order to enter prison property. All attendees must complete and submit the 'NDOC Contractor Background Check Application' and the 'NDOC Security Regulations Acknowledgement Form' a minimum of 7 days prior to the pre-bid meeting date. See Supplemental Instructions to Bidders for details on obtaining a security clearance.
