The term of the Contract will be two (2) years: from 12:01 a.m., April 1, 2023 to midnight, March 31, 2025. The term of the Contract may be considered for extension on a period-by-period basis at the Regional Districts discretion. Each extension, if granted, will be for a one (1) year period and the total contract duration will not exceed five (5) years. Six months prior to the expiry of the first term of the Contract, the parties will meet to discuss the terms of an extension of the Contract. Neither party will be bound to an extension unless the terms of the extension are approved by that party's corporate body The Regional District intends to enter into a contract with a Technical Safety BC certified elevator maintenance contractor to inspect and maintain the following on a twice-yearly basis: a) 1 - Concord Infinity Elevator, located at the Canoe Valley Recreation Centre in Valemount, B.C.; and b) 1 - Garaventa Xpress II, located at the Robson Valley Recreation Centre in McBride, B.C.. These lifting devices have minimal use. The Concord Infinity Elevator lifts passengers 1 (one) floor, from the main level to the second floor. The Garaventa Express II lifts passengers 1 (one) floor, from the main level to the second floor
