This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara ("Niagara Region") to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Subsurface Utility Investigation - Southside Lowlift Forcemain Replacement , as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Southside Low Lift Pump Station (LLPS) is located at 4414 Chippawa Parkway in the City of Niagara Falls. The project includes approximately 1,730 metres of existing forcemain replacement extending from the station discharge to Stanley Avenue and Don Murie Street. The existing 600mm diameter polyethylene forcemain was installed in 1975 and has broken several times in recent years. A portion of the forcemain runs through private property. Within the scope of this design assignment, the Region wishes to realign the portion of main from private property (approximately 720 metres) to within the municipal right-of-way. The design and installation of a sewage flow meter and associated chamber downstream of the LLPS is also included in the project scope. This RFQ is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2021-RFSQ-227 specifically Category [9].
