Douglas County Project 2021-32 consists of removing an existing 32' span Rigid Frame Bridge and constructing a 42' Span x 42' Long Precast Reinforced Concrete Arch. Items include Contractor Staking, Clearing & Grubbing, Grading, Steel Piling, Resteel & Concrete for CIP Footings, Headwalls, and Wingwalls, Steel Handrail, Rip Rap, Surfacing Material (AB-3), Surfacing Material (SS-3), Temporary Erosion and Pollution Control, Seeding, and Traffic Control. Project 2021-32 is located on North 1900 Road (between E1600 and E1700 Roads approximately 6 miles northeast of Lawrence, KS. The anticipated "Notice to Proceed" is October 2, 2023. The late "Notice to Proceed" is March 4, 2024. This contract will have 75 Working Days to be completed.
