This job is for the replacement of Eight (8) Window A/C units, 2ea in portable buildings P-1 to P-4 I. Window Air Conditioning Units: a. All window A/C units shall be 18,000btu LG Dual Inverter series or a preapproved equal. b. Window A/C units will be framed with treated 2 x 4 and shall have minimum 1/2 " ACX treated plywood on the interior and exterior. c. All wood around the A/C units will be caulked and painted (interior and exterior). III. Condensation Drain lines a. All a/c units shall have a 1/2 " PVC drain lines. b. All drain lines shall be strapped securely to the wall and run from the a/c unit to approximately 6" above the existing finish grade. III. Electrical: a. This a replacement of the 8 a/c units and electrical work shall be only as necessary. b. Contractor shall provide all necessary components for a complete installation of all A/C units; including but not limited to conduits, wiring, outlets, breakers, etc. IV. Patching a. All penetrations through walls/windows shall be completely sealed b. All added and/or replaced lumber and/or plywood shall be patched and painted. Wood trim shall be used for gaps larger than 1/4 inch. c.
