For 2023 Spring Creek Road Reconstruction Project The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Spring Creek Rd. Pulverize Existing Roadway 5,760 S.Y. Asphaltic Pavement 3-inch 4,780 S.Y. Base Aggregate Dense 3/4-inch, Shoulder 980 S.Y. Reconstruct Side Road & Private Entrances 4 E.A. This project includes LRIP funding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Scope of Work. 1. The project will be approximately 2150-feet of road reconstruction on Spring Creek Road (see map) from approximately 50-feet south of USH 8 to the south side of the intersection with Old School Road.. This project will consist of pulverizing the full roadway width, 20-foot wide asphaltic paving, 2-foot wide gravel shouldering restoration of driveways and gravel town road intersection, needed restoration including seeding fertilizing and mulching of disturbed areas. 2. The work under this contract consists of any or all of the following, pulverizing of the existing roadway, final grading and compacting of pulverized roadway, construction of hot mix asphalt surface, and placement of Base aggregate dense 3/4 " shoulders. Restoration of side roads and driveways.
