Site work for a mixed-use development in Blanchardville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. In general the work consists of: The replacement and upsizing of aged water lines, well cleaning, replacement of the existing well pump, replacement of existing buried pressure tanks with new pressure tanks within the toilet shower building (TSB), installation of a VFD and pressure transducer, and connection of the TSB well to the larger water system for redundancy in the campground at Yellowstone Lake State Park. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. Bidding Documents will be available online immediately upon the project being advertised for bid.
