The Bear Creek Redwoods Phase II Project consists of land slide repairs, replacement of a culvert, removal of a culvert, creek channel restoration, installation of a water supply line, and the installation of two bridges as further detailed and described herein as the Contract Documents. In consideration of District's reliance on and investigation and consideration of the Bid Proposal of the undersigned, the undersigned agrees that such Bid shall be irrevocable and shall not be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days following the Bid opening even though an award is made to another Bidder. Thereafter, such Bid shall be automatically relieved. Scope of Work: The Slide #2 repairs consist of the installation of a retaining wall supported by cast-in-place drilled soldier pile foundation. The slide #3 repairs consist of the installation of subsurface drainage, vegetated bench terraces, and rock riprap supported slopes in order to prevent further incising of the slope and further erosion. Crossing #3 consists of the removal of an existing concrete culvert and headwall, and the installation of a 60" HDPE culvert, two concrete headwalls, and two guardrails. Creek restoration at Crossing #4 consists of the removal of trees and piping from the creek channel, grading and reshaping of the creek channel, and the installation of a rock mix to form the new creek base. Bridge # 6 will consist of the construction of a 65 LF x 12 LF concrete vehicular bridge. Bridge #7 will consist of the construction of a 55 LF x 12 LF concrete vehicular bridge, including concrete wing wall abutment footings and rock slope protection. The water supply line scope of work consists of installing 2,000 linear feet of 4" water line in a trenched channel with thrust blocks as further detailed and described herein as the Contract Documents February 17, 2023 11:00 a.m. - Deadline for Bidders to pose questions.
