For Street Sign Bids Special Note: Bidders may also furnish alternate products and price list for Road Commission review. The Contractor proposes to furnish signs according to the requirements within the 2011 Michigan Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and as herein specified: *NOTE: Signs are to be High Intensity Prismatic facings on .080 aluminum -- Radiused corners -- Holes punched according to FHWA standards. All 36" and larger signs are to be punched for a double post installation, unless noted on bid specifications. Items to be shipped to Tuscola County Road Commission at 1733 S. Mertz Rd., Caro, MI 48723. Freight included in cost of bid items. Any questions on signs or bids should be directed to Scott Raymer, Tuscola County Road Commission, 1733 S. Any variation from the specifications of the project herein without written approval from the Tuscola County Road Commission and/or its authorized representative may result in, at the discretion of the Road Commission, the voiding and/or canceling of the acceptance of any bid and/or contract, resulting from this project. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to re-advertise or to accept the proposal that, in their opinion, is in the best interest of Tuscola County.
