Quotes must be on company letterhead with a date and signature of an authorized representative of the vendor. All vendors providing written quotes must have the required expertise and capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment. Consideration will be given to the vendor who has the capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment, consideration shall also be given to the vendor's geographic proximity to Wakulla County for future ease of delivery, mobilization, or customer support after a purchase. The lowest cost, responsible and responsive vendor who is capable of performing the services or supplying the commodities or equipment shall be awarded the contract. The Board of County Commissioners is seeking written quotes from licensed and insured contractors with the required expertise and capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment for Inspection Services for asbestos-NESHAP for approximately five (5) residential properties located in Wakulla County so that they may be rehabilitated with funds from the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Scope of Services to be provided: o Inspections shall be performed by NESHAP licensed asbestos inspectors. o Reports should indicate any Asbestos-containing material in accordance with NESHAP requirements located within the interior or exterior of the structures. o If Asbestos-containing material is present, separate prices shall be submitted for abatement with recommendations, Certified Abatement Contractor inspections and clearance testing. o Work is to be performed in a safe manner, with care taken to protect persons and surrounding property. The prices quoted shall include base price per house (including time and travel for all services) and unit prices for asbestos testing, abatement inspections and clearance testing. Along with your quote, please include your current NESHAP Certifications for Inspection, Assessment, Abatement Contractor, and Clearance Testing. The selected vendor shall be fully informed as to all existing conditions and limitations that affect the work to be performed hereunder. Failure to become familiar with site conditions will in no way relieve the successful vendor from the necessity of furnishing any materials or performing any work that may be required nor shall it be grounds for a change order for work that would have been apparent had a site visit been made. Time and Deliverables: The selected vendor shall be expected to complete all necessary and required services pursuant to this quote. This quotation is for Inspection Services for asbestos-NESHAP for approximately five (5) residential properties located in Wakulla County so that they may be rehabilitated with funds from the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program; therefore, final completion shall be expected within sixty (60) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, as approved and signed off by Government Services Group. Warranty: The vendor awarded will be required to provide a minimum one-year warranty on labor. Upon award of the written quotation the vendor will be required to provide the necessary liability insurance as per County requirements.
