The City of Sioux City is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Experience from qualified firms to provide engineering/architectural and planning services for federally-funded capital improvement projects at the Sioux Gateway Airport (the Airport). A master agreement is contemplated, subject to review and recommendation to the Airport Board, the concurrence of the City Council, and the availability of appropriations. Interested parties should contact Sioux City Purchasing Office, 712-279-6235, for a qualifications packet. The City, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Rights Title VI (49 USC 47123 and FAA Order 1400.11). The Sponsor, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all consultants that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice/solicitation/invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. All Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. DBE participation for each professional service project is encouraged by the Commission, and a DBE goal is projected to be established for each project funded by the FAA. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
