As of April 13, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor has not been confirmed at this time. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/16/2023 10:00 AM Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be submitted. A certified check or bid bond, properly executed, must be enclosed with the bid proposal. All bids must be accompanied by a fully executed Public Works Employment Verification Form. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and reserves the right to waive all informalities in bids received. The bidder is required to visit and carefully examine the site of the project, the work proposed, the proposal and specifications and to compute the quantities of labor and materials necessary for this project. It will be assumed that any incidental work will be taken into consideration in the bid and will not constitute a basis for claim for extra compensation. This is especially true for the placing of the wearing course on the cul-de-sacs when applicable and review areas for milling. The contractor may have to pave one half of the street one day and the other half on another day to provide property owners access to their properties.
