The work consists of installation of approximately 3950 feet of 12" PVC Water Mains and related appurtenances and 2215 feet of gravity sewer main installation and 6 manholes for water and sewer service in the Bluegrass Crossings Business Centre (regional industrial park). A certified check or bank draft, payable to Ohio County Fiscal Court, government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the following: 1) 5% Bid Bond; and 2) A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246 and Title VI and other requirements. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the proposer.
