Site work and paving for a road / highway in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project work consists of grinding existing pavement, concrete base repair, asphalt resurfacing, installing pavement markings, and adjusting utility valves and manholes to grade. This project requires submission of an Economic Equity and Inclusion Plan (EEIP). This project qualifies for Apprentice utilization. Contractor should attach Apprenticeship Incentive Form (AIF) with their bid submission to utilize this provision. This project does not have an SEB reserve. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, an official bank check, cashier's check drawn on a national bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the State of Nebraska, payable to the City or a duly executed Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a duly licensed corporate surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. Notice to Proceed is expected to be delivered by June 5, 2023. The Work will be substantially completed within 148 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 178 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
