Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to perform interior demolition work associated with the critical maintenance renovation of the Science III building on the university campus. Work includes but is not limited to removal of interior partitions, exterior windows and doors, flooring, ceilings, all other finishes along with the removal of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the designated Phase 1 area. The presence of hazardous material has been detected and identified and will need to be abated according to local, state and federal law. Work needs to be coordinated to accommodate the occupants that will continue to reside within the building during the demolition process. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website.
