Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Venice, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
Funding for property, design and construction of a new City Fleet Maintenance Facility. The Justification: City's fleet consists of Police cars, Fire trucks, EMS units, heavy equipment, specialty equipment and all other passenger vehicles. Currently the City's Fleet is serviced and repaired by a 3rd party contractor at the City owned facility located on 221 S. Seaboard Ave. This facility is in disrepair and a new facility is planned at the same site as the proposed Solid Waste Facility. This project is in included in the City of Venice FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of February 02, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
