Renovation of a mixed-use development in Herndon, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and replacement of the building central heating plant along with the natatorium HVAC system and pool water heating system, structural modifications, roofing work, associated utilities and appurtenances, new ultra-violet (UV) disinfection system for pool, and Phase One of a building management control system retrofit. The project includes all aspects to execute the work while maintaining an operational natatorium including coordinating work activities with the Using Agency, providing temporary heating and ventilation, coordination of certain work activities when the facility is unoccupied, testing, and commissioning. All questions concerning the project shall be submitted by email to the attention of the Project Engineer of Public Works at publicworks@herndon-va.gov . This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. All questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023
